From the very beginning of the school, we have always endeavoured to becoming a self-sufficient entity, trusting in the loving care and provision of GOD.

There is no official sponsor or any government grants that we can call upon for the survival of the school and orphanage, so everything has to be provided by the Friends of Tariro.

Thanks to all our friends, we have built the livestock in our small farm and are actively cultivating green vegetables and healthy herbs and ingredients  to use in our kitchens.

Here are some of the things we are doing:

• Crop planting
• Cattle farming
• Poultry farming
• Fish farming (this is only possible outside of droughts)
• Dress making
• Building projects
