The children’s school in Kazingizi is a fully functioning educational facility which has grown from a ‘seed’ idea to a fully fledged school site with a head master, qualified teachers, support workers and of course, a
growing number of pupils in all age groups.
For the most part we’re able to keep to a set curriculum, but with the serious limitations on available resources, the ongoing work is severely hampered and depends on the kindness and generosity of our sponsors.
The curriculum has been designed to offer the children a holistic approach to life. It takes into consideration things like husbandry,
land management, home economics, food preparation and spiritual welfare.
Currently, the school has over 130 children of all ages attending. Some are day scholars and the others are residents, drawn from the
